Assessing stability Optimisation tips Another important criterion affecting thechoice of cutter is the stability of the system.The symbols indicate different stabilityconditions. The entire machining process must be takeninto consideration when assessing stability (machine, clamping, component, etc.). The KENNAPERFECT selection matrix canalso be used to help choose the most suitable grade:
