For use in machining centres, milling and special machines, generally with automatic tool change.
The coolant transfer unit prevents coolant from flowing back into the machine spindle or clamping system.
HSK DIN 69893 part 2, form B and form D, and initial standards part 5, form E and part 6, form F, are available on request.
HSK adaptors specially designed for higher spindle speeds and high precision are finely balanced, balanced by design and balanced or balanceable with balancing rings. Please refer to the catalogue for further information about individual tool adaptors.
Design:
- central internal coolant supply from coolant transfer unit
- bore for DIN 69873 data carrier
- 2 transverse bores in taper for manual clamping
- torque transfer via 2 drive slots on the end of the taper
- positioning groove
- positioning faces for tool hopper
Notes:
1) In the context of HSK standardisation, these limiting speeds are recommended as standard values for HSK interfaces.
Coolant supply unit has to be ordered separately.
