DESCRIPTIONS
SERVO-CONTROL includes:
ð¯ Control card PA-24-2.
ð¯ One D.C. motor, low inertia.
ð¯ Tachometric dynamo joined drive.
ð¯ Gearbox.
ð¯ Position follower potentiometer in the gearbox output shaft.
Analogical linear AMPLIFIER, supply the voltage to the motor to receive information from the follower potentiometer which is compared with the consign value selected until getting the balance between both of them, differential ZERO.
Consign values can be obtained:
ð¯ By an external consign potentiometer.
ð¯ By selecting resistances at fixed or adjustable values.
ð¯ By an external analogical voltage from 0 to +10V/1.5 mA.
The last two events provide solutions of programma position.
OPERATION
Due to the low inertia rotor, the motor quickly reaches its regime speed. Instantaneous stop is produced at the moment the difference of the consign values and the follower is ZERO. An adjustable ramp allows dampening of inertia effect of the load.
Torque, can be limited by an external potentiometer.
The tachogenerator controls motor revolutions to obtain a totally uniform displacement, even with load of high inertia.
The potentiometer reliability depends on the resolution of the follower potentiometer or the precision grade of the analogical voltage.

ð¯ Normalized, 1 turn, 340° rotation potentiometer.
ð¯ 10 turns, 3,600° rotation potentiometer.
