Akyboard® Polypropylene Bubble Structure Material New ! A Unique Technology • High bubble density for an homogeneous rigidity • Large bubbles for lightness and flatness • An attractive finish • In line lamination From raw materials this specific process extrudes and connects directly all three layers of the sheet. Moreover we also laminate inline, on one or both sides, materials such as PP or PE foam, metallized film, printed film, to satisfy a large range of applications. Multiple Applications One way, packaging, multiway packaging, layer pads, separators, OEM automotive parts… Markets: automotive, pharmaceutical, logistics, food industry… Advantages A Versatile Product • Lightweight • Consistent multi-directional mechanical properties • Flat with an attractive aspect • Can be laminated with other material: non woven fabric, PP or PE foam, PP printed film, PP metallized film. Special laminations on request. • Printable (flexo printing, screen printing) • Easy to convert: can be die-cut, creased, welded, perforated, stapled, glued, sewn. Raw Material Characteristics (typical of PP): • Food contact • Non toxic, resistant to chemical agents • Moisture-resistant and rot-proof • 100% recyclable (if allowed by eventual lamination)
