Performance data is valid for the range of HPC motors when fully run-in and operating with mineral oil. The appropriate motor displacements can be selected using performance data shown on pages 4 to 8. Refer to the table on this page for pressures and speed limits when using fire-resistant fluids.

Rating definitions

Continuous rating The motor must be operated within each of the maximum values for speed, pressure and power. Intermittent rating Intermittent max pressure: 275 bar.This pressure is allowable on the following basis: (a) Up to 50 r.p.m. 15% duty for periods up to 5 minutes maximum. (b) Over 50 r.p.m. 2% duty for periods up to 30 seconds maximum.Static pressure to DNV rules 380 bar.
