This vertical arrangement of the cable carrier with additional support elements attached offers the option of using the cable carrier as a lift- ing device for machine components attached to its elements (e.g. con- trol panels, manipulators etc.).The cable carrier is driven by sprocket wheels. The pitch circle radius must be equal to or larger than the selectedbend radius of the cable carrier.This installation is either motor driven or a balance weight is used.
