The Jungheinrich EZS 130 is a particularlycompact tow tractor for pulling trailers up to 3000 kg. Its very narrow width of only600 mm makes it the ideal tractor for par-ticularly narrow and confined areas. The coupling of various trailers allows the loading height to be varied easily. Thiscontributes towards a flexible and econom-icalproduct throughput. The coupling isvisible from any position and easily acces- sible. The semi-automatic remote couplingrelease (optional) allows the coupling/releasing of trailers without the operator having to leave the platform. This saves time and costs. Another advantage: Thetractor is available with several differentcouplings and can thus be adapted to anytype of trailer. The 24 V drive motor in AC technology giveshigh performance. The advantages are: powerful acceleration and high top speed with significant energy saving, longerapplication times and low maintenance(no carbon brushes) at the same time. This is due to the optimisation between drive motor and the electronic control, as wellas having regenerative braking. The main ergonomic advantages are thelow stand-on platform for frequent mounting and dismounting and the short distance from operator platform to load.The EZS also operates effortlessly in con-fined spaces. Its turning radius is so low that the operator thinks he is “turning on the spot”. The JetPilot steering wheel, thesupportive backrest and automatic speedreduction “Curve Control” provide com- fort and safety, especially on corners.
