The EJE 1 Series pallet trucks are particu-larly suited to lorry loading and offloadingas well as horizontal transport over short distances. The main advantage is down to its short chassis length (L
2 ) of only 480 mm,the EJE can be manoeuvred in the smallestof spaces. The innovative 3-phase AC drive motor isanother advantage. Its efficiency ensures high speed and powerful acceleration in every situation – ideal for fast, efficientproduct throughput. Added to speed ofoperation are long operating times: bat- teries up to 250 Ah in combination withexcellent energy management ensure long operating times. For operations lastingmore than 1 shift, the battery can beremoved sideways (optional) for quick battery change. The long tiller ensures safe operation bykeeping a practical distance between op- erator and truck. If space is at a premium,the crawl speed button makes travellingsafe with the tiller in the upright position. One touch of a button is sufficient: the brake is released and the drive switch au- tomatically controls travel at a reducedspeed. The low battery height pays offparticularly in confined spaces, and pro- vides even the shorter operator with opti- mum visibility towards the fork tips.The completely redeveloped multifunctiontiller head is full of innovations: enclosedsensor system (IP65) for protection againstbreakdown, rocker switch with contact- less electronics for operation in every tiller position and ergonomically arrangedswitches.
