Available in machine and ball screw designs these heavy-duty actuators can handle loads of up to 2000 pounds. Joyce actuators are offered in two distinct versions-Motorized and Integrated. Joyce Motorized Actuator models are available in 500 and 1500 pound capacities and 115-volt AC or 12-volt DC designs. The 500 pound actuators are available in 3”, 6”, 12”, and 18” travels and speeds up to 42 inches per minute (AC models) and 70 IPM (DC models). The 1500 pound actuators come in 3”, 6”, 12”, 18” and 24” travels and speeds up to 52 IPM (AC models) and 36 IPM (DC models). Joyce Integrated Actuators are worm gear driven designs that incorporate an integrated NEMA 56C motor flange for easy motor adaptation. Versatile Integrated Actuators are offered in both machine and ball screw models for maximum design flexibility. Four Integrated Actuator models are available including two traveling nut (rotating screw) models and two translating stainless steel tube models. Integrated Actuators are available in capacities up to 2000 pounds and Joyce will provide standard AC, DC, or air motors at the customer’s request. Joyce Integrated Actuators come in your choice of 5:1 and 20:1 worm gear ratios for speeds from 14 to 345 inches per minute. Standard Integrated Actuators are available in travel lengths up to 24” and come equipped with an output shaft, which can be used to couple two actuators for synchronous operation. Joyce also offers optional clevis and limit switch mounting options. All Joyce Motorized and Integrated Actuators are designed for long service life and have been tested for thousands of cycles to ensure trouble free operation. The lifting mechanisms consist of either a high tensile aluminum-bronze lifting nut or heattreated ball nut connected to a weather resistant lifting tube.
