Ceramic-fibre tools
The ceramic-fibre files from JOKE® are
highly versatile tools. They are above all
used wherever you get bogged down with
conventional tools, for example at highly
filigreed spots such as slots, ribs and ridges,
etc. Ideal for removing erosion structures.
Very good results are achieved during use
as lapping and polishing tools in conjunction
with diamond compounds. They can be
used manually (e.g. in special file holders,
see page 241) or with the aid of a handfiling
machine. Ceramic fibre files make a
perfect team in conjunction with ultrasonic
polishing systems. In this case however,
we recommend the special HT-140 or the
particularly heat-resistant Ultra-HT files,
which with greater heat resistance also
withstand very high output ratings, without
proverbially “burning away”.
With the likewise new mini ceramic files,
you can process even the most filigreed
areas; the soft files are highly adaptable
owing to the rubbery bond and do not leave
any scratches whatsoever.
You will also find a matching selection of
holders available from us for convenient
manual use of the files.
The range is rounded off by the ceramicfibre
files and brushes on a shank and the
ceramic-fibre cut-off discs.
Five facts about the JOKE® ceramic-fibre files
1. The files are no. 1 when it comes to heat resistance (an upper
temperature limit higher by 30 degrees in comparison!)
2. The JOKE® files and the ENESKA 2-1 system have been
optimally adapted to one another!
3. Specially developed polishing fibres allow maximum stock
removals and absolutely uniform finishing quality!
4. A combination of polishing fibres and a special bond
prevent splintering at the tip!
5. Integrated development and production from the initial
fibre to the finished product guarantee consistent product
quality and constant optimisation!
