Bowie Hydro-Mulchers won’t give into harsh working conditions

Even the Discovery Channel aired an episode in March about hydroseeding on its popular show Long-time customer. Bowie Industries,Inc. manufactures six models of John Deere- powered hydro-mulchers,as well an Aero- Mulcher. Bowie’s relationship with John Deere spans some 25 years. In fact,many of the company’s early models are still in operation today. Bowie is known for building strong, long-lasting equipment that can endure the harsh,dirty conditions associated with seeding, mulching,or blowing straw.

“The John Deere engines have heldupreally well,”relates engineer Gary Meyer. “I believe the John Deere engine is just a really well-engineered product. Its agricultural background gives John Deere experience building equipment for dusty,dirty conditions.”Gary says the extensive John Deeredealer network is also valuable asset. “You don’t have to travel far to find a John Deere dealer,”he says. “They’ve been really willing to work on the Hydro-Mulchers even though it’s not a John Deere product.”
