Papé Machinery sourced a Tier 3/Stage III A PowerTech E 4045H engine from Western Power Products. Moving quickly on the project, Papé Machinery removed the nonregulated 2-cycle competitive diesel engine and prepared the new engine for installation. “We re-engineered the electrical wiring harness, replaced the hydraulic hoses, fabricated new engine mounts, and redesigned the brackets so that the new engine would fit the confines of the original design of the machine,” Mike says.
