The 4-pole TOP 439 H D.C. hollow shaft tacho-generators are measure- ment converters for measurement, control and regulation technology. The function of these permanently excited D.C. generators is to convert the speed at which they are driven into a speed-proportional D.C. voltage. The sizing and quality of the silver-graphite brushes used, do guarantee long maintenance-free operation. Brush life is however extremely dependent on ambient conditions and speed.
