Product InformationZB-300 Benchmaster PositionersPrecision & standard models Easy to use automation 300 lb (136 kg) load capacity 500 amp current capacity Associated equipment & multiple options availableZB-300 Positioner shown with MCM-10 control Introduction Optional Items Jetline has redeisgned its popular Benchmaster series positioners — the new ZB-300 now offers up to 300 lb (136 kg) weight capacity. A high quality gear box has been incorporated, decreasing backlash and increasing torque.Accessories are available to build your own custom, automated benchtop system, including precision slides, brackets, support structures, and tailstocks. The ZB-300 can be easily combined with the multitude of Benchmaster components available from Jetline. Two models are available: the standard ZB-300 and the precision ZB-300XC. The precision model is supplied with Jetline’s 9640 microprocessor control and incorporates a tach-generator feedback motor to provide the added benefit of speed holding accuracy of ±0.1% of the maximum speed.A full 90° of tilt, fl at to vertical, is provided by way of a friction lock which allows for a smooth, continuous tilt of the faceplate. The 12” (305 mm) faceplate provides a 5/8” (16 mm) hole through the spindle and faceplate. If desired, this can be used for gas purging, water cooling, or tooling by utilizing optional components.Ground current conduction has been increased to 500 amps rotary standard - no carbon brushes to wear or crystallize. • 9640-ZB microprocessor control (optional for the standard ZB-300)• FS-4 Remote on/off foot switch • FC-5A Variable speed foot control • Ten-turn Potentiometer - replaces standard 1-turn pot• 9” (228 mm) and 14” (355 mm) 3-jaw chucks • Limit switch facility • Tach-generator kit for speed holding accuracy better that ±1% of the maximum speed Optional 9640 Microprocessor Rotation Control The 9640 control is designed for automatic se- quencing of the welding arc, rotation, and wire if used. It can be linked to a suitable power sup- ply for starting and stopping of the power supply’s weld program. The control incorporates a solid state motor con- troller. During weld- ing, if the positioner includes the tach-gen- erator option, the 9640 control displays the actual speed in revolu- tions per minute or the surface speed in inches or centimeters per minute. 15 Goodyear St, Irvine, California 92618 U.S.A. • Tel: (949) 951-1515 • Fax: (949) 951-9237 |
