It has three floating female thread segments and fits onto any standard male thread. The floating I.D. allows the Kwik-Thread Nut to quickly slide onto bolts to the workpiece being bolted down. It can then be torqued down like a standard nut. • Material: Carbon steel housing; cap, thread, SS302 springs, alloy steel locking pins. • Finish: Housing-black oxide, other parts plain • Proof loads: Equal to grade 5 nuts, or grade 8.8 (metric) • Ideal in difficult physical condition • Slips quickly over damaged threads • Available in three styles: Hex nut, flange nut, and threaded O.D. for use as a threaded insert • Available in 1/2, 5/8, and 3/4 sizes • Other sizes and materials including heat treated stainless steel available on special order, contact customer service Hex Nuts Thread Across Flange Flange External Part Size Height Flats Dia.
