Stays Mechanically Locked–Even When Disconnected from Hydraulic Pressure

Withconventional power clamping, whenpressure is put to the clamp, it clamps...take the pressure away (onpurpose or not), it unclamps. With theStayLock Clamp's patented internal locking mechanism, hydraulic pressure is needed to clamp...and to unclamp! StayLock Swing Clamp on aTombstone Fixture The Swing Clamp rotates 80 ° away from the workpiece,allowing easy loading andunloading of the part. In this application, the tombstone ismounted on a double palletmachining center. When the pallet rotates, the StayLockClamp remains clamped. Thereis no need for an accumulator in the hydraulic system. Nor isthere a chance of hydraulichoses getting tangled or accidentally cut while the part isbeing machined. StayLockSwing Clamps are available in left-hand or right-hand swingstyles. StayLock Rocker ClampHolding a Die The Rocker Clamp is ideal forquick change clamping on dies,molds, and fixture plates wherea standard height subplate is employed. Because of theunique body design of theRocker Clamp, it can easily be adapted with a T-slot nutmounted on the bottom. Thisenables the Rocker Clamp to slide in and out, making partremoval easier, plus it allowsfor various widths of subplates or fixture plates to be used. StayLock Block Clamp on aTombstone The Block Clamp is a multi-purpose utility clamp, utilized, as any StayLock Clamp canbe, in either the horizontal orvertical clamping positions.
