8 Key Features • The 2300 and the 2400 series diode lasers (798-800 or 808-812 nm) represent a breakthrough in high continuous wave (CW) optical power up to 4 W and ultra-high brightness with unsurpassed reliability. The small emitting aperture, combined with low beam divergence, makes the 2300/2400 series the highestbrightness family of CW diode lasers available in the industry today. • The 5400 series (810, 830 or 852 nm) has power level up to 200 mW kink free operation and combine a quantum well structure and a real-refractive indexguided single mode waveguide to provide high power, low astigmatism, narrow spectral width and a single spatial mode Gaussian far field. • The L3 package, fiber-coupled diodes range from 808 nm to 980 nm with power up to 8.0 W out of the fiber. It’s the perfect diode for fiber laser or DPSS laser pumping. • The 5800 series lasers, based on our 980 nm single mode pump laser, can transmit data at very high speed up to 1.25 Gb/s and can be run at temperature up to 125 °C. Key Benefits • “Telecom-grade” quality • Predictable reliability with at least 100,000 hours mean-time-before-failure • Very high brightness • World class, high volume manufacturing • Competitive price points Applications • Optical pumping of fiber and solid-state lasers • Material processing • Thermal exposure • Illumination • Ophthalmology/medical • Printing and imaging • Optical data storage • Spectral analysis Diode Lasers
