L-751 is flame retardant per FAR part 25.853 and is suitable for constructionof light weight aircraft componentssuchas air conditioning ducts, fairings, door facings, and interiorpanels. L-751 can be cured over a broad spectrum of times, temperatures, and pressures.Advantages of L-751The designeris given a high strength to weight ratio to optimize the design of aircraft components. L-751 uses a 100% solids resinsystem with less than 0.5% volatile content resulting in dense, void free laminates. L-751 has excellent resistance to most fluids encountered in the aerospace environment. L-751 iscompatiblewith many adhesives and prepregs utilized in the aerospace industry today, enabling to be co-cured into final assemblieswith ease.Physical Properties on 285 Aramid FabricStandard Weight:0.072 lbs/ft² (352 g/m2 ) Standard Resin Content:50% by weight Standard Tack:Slightly tacky on one side Cured Ply Thickness:0.010” (0.254 mm) OtherWeights, Resin Contents, and Fabrics are Available.
