Originallanguage: German Brief description The C-Tec 90-10 series DC buffer module uses ultracapacitors for energy storage. In normal operation, these capacitors are charged from an external charging unit. If the supply is interrupted, the energy stored on the ultracapacitors is available to the load as a buffer. The buffer module continues to supply the load until it is discharged. The length of buffer time available is a function of the charge level of the capacitors and the discharge current. The buffer module offers the following advantages: Maintenance-free with long-life ultracapacitors large temperaturrange basic-balancing to save energy connectable reinforced balancing Temperatur-Monitoring Under- and Overvoltage-Monitoring of the single cells Potential-free contacts (free configurable) Module are connectable and configurable over Can-Bus Subject to technical modifications!
