Original language: German Brief description The C-TEC 90-10 PM series DC buffer module form J. Schneider uses ultracapacitors for energy storage. In normal operation, these capacitors are charged from an external charging unit. If the supply is interrupted, the energy stored on the ultracapacitors is available to the load as a buffer. The buffer module continues to supply the load until it is discharged. The length of buffer time available is a function of the charge level of the capacitors and the discharge current. The buffer module offers the following advantages: Maintenance-free with long-life ultracapacitors Microcontroller-supported monitoring of the ultracapacitors Operating status monitoring via electrically isolated signals to the charging unit Great mechanical stability (Vibration endurance 3 Hz – 100 Hz, Shock until 50 g and Shock endurance 20 g) made for Wind business Pluggable to realize easy device switching Vibration secured wiring via spring loaded plugs Wide working temperature range -30 °C to 60 °C Subject to technical modifications !
