FLETCHER Model J-151-DE Single Boom Drill Jumbo Carrier ..J151 E single boom jumbo is specifically designed for development and production drilling in headings from 10 ft. by 10 ft. (3m by 3m) up to 24 ft. wide by 20.5 ft. high (6.3 m high by 7.6m wide) in one carrier set up. ..Diesel tramming with electric hydraulic drilling enables cost effective drilling with the flexibility of fast heading to heading moves. The compact size and articulated design allow the jumbo to tram and setup in tight headings, circular ramps or crosscuts. ..Operator is comfortable in a fully enclosed, sound suppressed, MSHA certified cab. Cab has excellent visibility for both drilling and tramming. Cab can include an optional air conditioning/ heating system that uses HEPA filtration for both the introduced make up air and the recirculated interior air. ..All operator controls for drilling and tramming are either pilot operated or 24 V DC solenoid controlled, minimizing the noise and heat that is generated within the cab. Joystick operated drill feed and boom controls simplify and improve the hole to hole positioning. All operator controls are conveniently located for comfortable operation from the standard “Captains” style seat. The seat can be rotated to give the operator a clear forward and aft view. ..All hydraulic, infinitely variable, rock responsive hydraulic system allow the machine to be matched to your drilling requirements. All drill system valves are leak free, replaceable cartridges in manifolds and are located in readily accessible and lockable cabinets. The drilling hydraulic system has test ports for quickly setting machine pressures. Specifications ..All normal service items including air and hydraulic filters are located on the outside of the machine for easy servicing or replacement. ..High pressure boost pump takes the incoming mine water and increases the water pressure for better hole cleaning and more effective drilling. The same water is passes through an efficient water oil cooler for cooling of the units hydraulic fluid. ..Tram drive is provided by an engine driven open loop hydrostatic system driving through a drop box and drive shafts to both axles. A single joystick controls tram speed, direction and steering. An emergency/parking brake enables secure drilling and operator safety. ..Four ram type stabilizers, two each front and rear, can lift the complete machine approximately 8 inches off the ground. Front stabilizers can be extended to a ten foot wide stance for the improved stability required for full width hole locations. ..J151 E uses a 425 ft. capacity electric cable reel and a 200 ft. capacity water hose reel to simplify the drill jumbo positioning and provide an extended range for operation.
