| The Pixeljet™ 64 Inkjet Imaging Subsystem from Trident5 uses a single 64-channel printhead to produce neai'-letter-qualiiy alphanumeric and graphics images up to 0.45 inches (11.4 mm) tall. The Pixeljet 64 provides twice as many individually addressable channels as Trident's UllraJei'M Imaging Subsystem in a smaller printhead footprint. The printhead can produce up to four lines of print at twice the vertical resolution of the Ultrajet 96/32. Several printheads can be indexed to enable imaging over a wider print area. This rugged printhead, with its stainless-steel body enclosed in a new protective polypropylene casing, redesigned ship cap and heavy-duty cabling connections, is designed to bear the demanding conditions associated with industrial printing environments. The ruggedness of the Pixeljet 64 will result in a reduction of the ongoing costs associated with maintenance and service of your system in the field. And, because the Pixeljet 64 is manufacturer-repairable, your replacement costs are kept to a minimum. Pixeljet 64 Imaging Subsystems, complete with printhead. ink supply, ink, and associated drive, electronics, are available from Trident. With printhead orifices smaller than a human hair, the Pixeljet 64 produces extremely low volume droplets. As a result, the ink efficiency is superior to that of competitive printing technologies.
