Choosing the right pump
There are a wide range of pumps to select from. In
order to find the right pump size, that matches the
system requirements, the duty point for the system
must be calculated. Then a suitable pump can be
chosen from the performance curves. For more
detailed analysis, please contact your ITT Flygt
representative.
1. Calculate the duty point (a) for the
system.
2. Choose a pump model from the family of
curves that match the system
requirements.
3. A correct impeller blade angle will be
chosen to meet the duty point.
