Key to Efficient Materials Handling eerie
In the layout of our catalogue, it is veryimportant to us that our customers findthe contents clearly arranged and easy tounderstand, since this product informa-
tion is put together with them in mind.
The material for
spindles and tubes areidentical for a large number of our rollerseries. Essential differences are however
found in the bearing assemblies and ma-
terials used. A bearing assembly is al-
ways the basis for the various roller seriesand characterises our product accordingto application and use in the handling of
materials. There are 5 series upon which
all our components are based. We have
used these to redesign this cataloguefrom the standpoint of application (whichis what our customers know).
A bearing assembly essentially deter-
mines the technical parameters of a series and significantly influences thefunction of the products. The bearingsemployed in a series are always identical;
only structural shapes may vary. The ma-
terials for the
bearing housing as well as
for the
industrial seal are likewise always identicalwithin a series. The variations within a series arise from the combination of different spindle and tube dimensions as
well as from the different materials. As an example and for better under-standing, here is a brief description of Series 1700, the components of which
are the basis for the following Interrollconveyor roller series: >
? Universal
industrial conveyor roller Series 1700 >
? Fixed drive conveyor roller Series 3500 >
? Friction accumulating conveyor rollerSeries 3800 >
? Tapered conveyor roller Series 1700
KXO and 3500 KXO >
? 24VDC RollerDrive All ball bearings of this series are basedon the precision
ball bearing manufacturer 6002; only
polyamide and polypropylene are used as
technopolymers. The characteristics and
thus also the applications of the afore-mentioned
conveyor rollers are identical, and they are therefore shown together in
a series. >
