Protocol Analysis in the Switched Ethernet
®
Remote Agents solution NetSpector
INAT NetSpector is an Ethernet-Network analyzers software. The Network Sniffer observes the network traffic, records the desired telegrams, decodes the transferred packages and makes the network transpa­rent by that. Network problems can be loca­ted and fixed quickly. NetSpector is able to cope with common industrial protocols like no other professional analyzer could: S7, S5, RFC1006, Modbus on TCP, EtherNet/IP, H1, CLX etc.
NetSpector is designed modularly. Display unit and recording agent work separately and can be used in different locations. The display unit can be run on the local worksta­tion while the recording takes place remotely on a switch. Problematic influences caused by intermediary active components (switch, professional router, bridge) are avoided by that. So proto­col analysis does not represent an insur­mountable task in Switched Ethernet also.

► Recordings can be saved on hard-disk and be reimported later.
