Imatek IM1F Film Tester - 55077 IM1-F Film Tester

A dedicated system for the multi-axial impact testing of flexible sheet film to defined quality standards: ASTM D1709, DIN53373, BSI 2782 method 352D and ISO EN 7765. The test measures the film’s impact resistance and energy absorption characteristics, typically for quality control purposes. As standard the system accommodates films up to 1mm thick and tests with impact energies of up to 95 Joules. Designed for ease of use to reduce operator training time. A short, highly automated test cycle results in high throughput. Very rugged high reliability design suited to production environments requiring continuous operation. Drop height range 50mm to 1200mm continuously variable. Impact velocity range 1m/s to 4.85m/s continuously variable. Impact energy range 4J to 95J. High quality, laboratory grade instrumentation with traceable calibration. High resolution data acquisition. Full force vs. deformation graph calculated and stored for each test. Automatic calculation of all relevant results including failure deformation, failure energy. User-defined documentation information stored with each test. Automatic save of all data after each test, either to individual automatically named files, or to a test database. On screen reporting of selected test results. Standard report print-out. Standard Options

Test geometries As standard the IM1-F is supplied with geometries as defined by ASTM D1709 and BSI 2782 method 352D. Optional geometries to DIN53373/ISO EN 7765 and custom geometries are available. Thickness gauge Measurements of film thickness are automatically transmitted to the computer, averaged according to test standards, and recorded with the test data. SPQ Integration Integration with clients software systems can be undertaken.
