Additionally, in variant 2 , we have work pieces sight systems. They are used for purposeful as- signment of the work piece to the branch line. For this a PLC control station is provided. As primary bus system a Profibus DP is inserted which connects the ASI-Gateway with the PLC. In Variante 2 kommen zusätzlich Werkstückträgererkennungssyste- me zum Einsatz. Dies dient der zielgerichteten Zuordnung des Werkstücks an die entsprechen- de Nebenstrecke. Hierfür steht ein SPS Leitstand zur Verfügung. Als übergeordnetes Bussystem wird der Profibus DP eingesetzt, wel-cher die ASI-Gateway mit der SPS verbindet.

The Die Endausbaustufe kommt in variant 3 is the final construc-tion step. The system will be con-trolled by a PC with a PLC Softwa- re. At the same time the PC is con-nected, through Ethernet, with the customers ERP system. A remote maintenance can be integrated by Internet or Modem connection. Va-riante 3
