Backplane ? Five (5) slot Full Mesh backplane with slots numbered from bottom to top (Horizontal mounting in card cage) ? Fabric: wired as a Full Mesh with a full eight (8) pair channel which connects each ATCA board directly to each other ATCA boards in the backplane ? IPMB_A and IPMB_B connections are wired as a bus ? Update Channel: routes a full ten (10) pair channel from slot 1 to 2 and slot 3 to 4 ? Base Interface: Wired as a dual star. Slot 1 and 2 are the Base Interface hub Slots. The Base Interface routes four (4) pair Base Channels to all slots ? Metallic Test Bus: Two pairs of the Metallic Test Bus signals are routed to all slots. Hardware Addressing: Each ATCA slots will be assigned a unique hardware address
