Pause input The pause function allows for easy deceleration/ stopping and restart. Combination Frequent work pickup errors Accuracy of stopping position is poor in pick & place operation, and pickup errors occur frequently. Accurate positioning Positioning deviation is eliminated because the positioning repeatability is as high as ± 0.02 mm. This reduces pickup errors. Height fluctuation in press-fit operation Press-fit heights fluctuate. Push-motion operation and zone output Height fluctuation can be eliminated because press-fit operation is performed as pushmotion operation using a zone output. Others No air supply source If no air supply source is available for the air cylinder, a compressor must be installed. Power supply is all you need ROBO Cylinders can be operated with a power supply only. Need for air pressure adjustment Since air pressure fluctuates, constant pressure adjustment is necessary. No need for adjustment Since ROBO Cylinders are driven by a motor, no adjustment is necessary. This reduces man-hours. High power consumption Want to cut down on power consumption to reduce the load on the environment. Energy-saving ROBO Cylinders consume approx. onetenth the power consumed by air cylinders (based on IAI’s internal test).
