Corrosive fluids or fluids with very low viscosi-ties are a problem in terms of the service life. Hydro Rene Leduc has come up with a partic-ularly innovative solution to this problem: the transfer pump. This recently patented technology involves separating the fluid to be conveyed from the fluid that actually transfers the pumping energy.The friction parts operate in a good lubricating fluid, whereas the parts which pump the fluid to be conveyed are subject to no friction. This new and major innovation makes it possi-ble to use sea water, for example, as the oper-ating fluid for marine applications.
