Open the catalog to page 4Fiber tray LiSA side access Highest packing density The LiSA side access system can accommodate up to 3000 fibers in a single 300 mm deep cabinet or 6000 fibers when placed back to back across a single floor tile. This packing density significantly reduces the total cost per port and limits the amount of space consumption within the building. Clear identification and traceability Many operators choose the LiSA side access system because they can identify their applications clearly with colours and labels. fiber trays are coloured depending on performance and large label areas help to...
Open the catalog to page 5Solution overview Splicing solution The LiSA side access splicing solution represents a modular group of products that enables seamless construction of passive optical networks especially in central office environment. The LiSA MTP fiber tray incorporates transition assemblies from MTP connectors on one side and standard connectors such as LC on the other side. The MTP connector offers a high degree of flexibility and speed when making the initial installation because it literally takes a few seconds to slide the fiber tray into the NGR rack and connect the MTPs to pre-installed backbone...
Open the catalog to page 6Patching solution Solution for 19" network racks Patching solutions are generally used to build a crossconnect (system-to-line) configuration either within the same ODR (optical distribution rack) or between adjacent ODRs and servers with highest flexibility when using preterminated and factory tested cable systems. Cable systems can be patched easily thanks to a sliding and pivoting design. Cables enter the LiSA patching tray from the rear left and right hand side of the tray unit and are then horizontally managed before entering the LiSA patching tray. Within the LiSA side access...
Open the catalog to page 7LiSA splicing solution The LiSA side access system is focused on speed of installation and speed of access. The LiSA fiber tray can be installed safely and quickly, and access can be made at any time without the need for tooling and without the need to disrupt pre-installed live fibers. Reliability and performance are key to the success of our industry. Therefore, we have ensured that the highest level of fiber protection and bend-radius limitation are standard across our side access system. The centrepiece of the LiSA side access system is an intelligent and flexible fiber tray that can be...
Open the catalog to page 8Fiber tray Features • Quick installation and easy handling because of a double staged pull-in mechanism • Module access completely from the front side • Hinge-down fiber tray offers immediate access to internal fibers even during service • Side-facing adapter alignment for higher laser safety • Pull-out feature with service loop offers immediate access to adaptors • Patch cords horizontally supported for various connector types: up to 36 × small form factor (SFF) or 18 × big form factor (BFF) connectors • Incoming fibers and pigtail fibers are stored in separate areas • Pigtails...

Open the catalog to page 11Splice to splice module Ruggedised cable pigtail splicing The ruggedised cable pigtail splicing solution allows to strain relief cable pigtails and thus a direct splicing of fibers from the system to the line side. This reduces the amount of optical components (connectors/adaptors) and reduces the attenuation on the total line. For CTS assemblies CTS assemblies have a factory made strain relief element on one side and a connector on the other side. Installers simply have to splice the fibers in the fiber tray followed by the patching to the equipment. • Direct splicing to incoming fibers •...
Open the catalog to page 12Splice to splice module Splice through – direct cable to cable splicing LiSA fiber trays for direct cable to cable splicing are basically a single tray without any front plate and thus incomming fibers simply will be spliced together. • Fast splicing and reduced coiling time • Lid with fiber identification • Quick access to fibers (telescopic hinge) • High density, up to 36 fibers on small footprint • Bend radius control throughout • Fiber overlength storage with integral heat shrink or sandwich splice comb Ordering information Description Blue splice through fiber tray, up to 24 splices,...
