PCVISOR
TOUCHSCREEN NETWORKED FRONT-END PANEL
SPECIFICATION DATA
The PCVisor features 3 independent alarm relays, which can be mapped using a simple logic table to take into account the following parameters: type of alarm; time of day and type of device generating the alarm.
This permits filtering of the action required following an alarm condition. For example, permitting only high temperature alarms on critical controllers to trigger an auto-dialer outside working hours.
FEATURES
• Touch screen PC operating the
web-based
software SynOpsys.
• Logging of real-time system data e.g. temperature, pressure, alarms, defrost status etc.
• Report generation of current and historical data.
• 'Built in' energy optimisation software.
• Honeywell Genus® or LonWorks® Network protocols offering future integration to third party devices.
• Meets due diligence requirements through HACCP.
• Internal modem permits off-site system analysis for more effective faultfinding.
• Floppy disk drive for simple data extraction (log backup, remote review, or system snapshots, etc.).
• Single point access to configure network devices
• Integral drop-down keyboard.
• TCP/IP Compliant.
APPLICATIONS
• Food Retailers
• Supermarkets
• Cold Stores
• Food Processing Factories
• Distribution Warehouses
• Hospital & Pharmaceutical Laboratories
GENERAL
The PCVisor functions as the heart of a fully networked refrigeration plant, HVAC and BMS system. It provides a fully integrated data monitoring system and displays the information in an easy to use menu driven graphical format.
The PCVisor also provides pack controller optimisation to automatically regulate the target suction pressure of a pack compressor / pack, thereby saving energy.
The unit can be connected to a maximum of 192 controllers (6 networks x 32 devices) using Honeywell Genus® network protocols. The PCVisor permits 2-way communication, in that it can be used to retrieve and log real-time system data as well as providing the capability to remotely configure the network controller parameters.
The defrost timer facility permits sequential defrost control of up to 100 channels, thus encouraging an even spread of energy consumption over any 24 hour period. When using a gas defrost system, header station control can be synchronised over the network with evaporator defrost control thus simplifying the field wiring and maintaining accurate defrost control.
The unit has a general-purpose timer that allows independent real-time control of up to 32 channels. This can be used to operate lights, case-blinds and related equipment. The time periods on each channel can be set to suit the trading hours on each day as well as being configured to take into account special days such as public holidays or plant shutdowns.
