| Application These server cabinets provide maximum passive air flow. They are designed for use in data rooms with either random or hot aisle/cold aisle cabinet positioning. Because there is no fan, these cabinets require minimum maintenance. Cabinets are tested to thermally manage up to 2500 watts. Thermal Performance Thermal rating of 2500 watts heat dissipation is based on: • 55°F (I3°C) ambient temperature in front of cabinet • Maximum inside temperature I00°F (38°C) • Equipment spaced to allow air flow (reduces "hot spot" potential) • Blank RU spaces filled with rack panels NOTE: Actual performance may vary depending on equipment layout and ambient temperature. Higher ambient temperatures will reduce heat dissipation, resulting in higher internal cabinet temperatures. Features • Rigid front door made of aluminum extrusions and formed perforated steel offers highly attractive appearance and durability • Fully perforated front and rear doors and fully perforated top allow maximum air movement around equipment; conforms to server manufacturer open space requirements • Models without sides fit together quickly for easy installation in ganged applications • Three-point locking pushbutton swing handle on front door provides easy but controlled access.
