HY111 series cylindrical environmental -friendly self-healing capacitor 1 General Our HY111-A series capacitors adopted germany and ital-ian advanced equipment and produc�on technology, and we are according to IEC60831 standard strictly. This item are mainly suitable for 50/60hz AC low voltage electric network to improve power factor,reduce reac�ve loss and improve power quality.A mainstream product type in Europe and America Main features: 1.1 More ra�onal design: considering the different capacitances and current carrying capci�es, B type connec�ng terminal is adopted when shell diameter ≥ 86mm. This design has a wider current carrying area and gives off no heat. An overhea�ng protec�on device is also installed. 1.2 Safe use: with a cynlindrical aluminium stretching shell, this safe and environmental structure has a stronger func�on of protec�on, preven�ng the danger of explosion and leakage. 1.3 With a new high-quality metalized polypropylene membrane specialized for capacitor as insula�ng medium, which features low ra�o characteris�cs, small body, low temperature and excellent electrical performance, the long life capacitor can tremendously boost the capacity of individual compensa�on cabinet. 1.4 Wider range of applica�on: featuring unique design and cra�, the product can adapt to areas with high ambient temperature and volitle fluctua�ons of system voltage. 1.5 Convenient installa�on and use: the M12/M16 stud type bo�om is convenient for users to install and adjust. 1.6 The HY111 cynlindrical capacitor helps to fulfill a module design of reactor compensa�on cabinet, which reduces the cost of equipment unit and makes maintainance easier. 1.7 HY111 adopts a mul�group paralleled connec�on, which breaks the whole into parts, i.e. one broken capacitor will not affect the opera�on of other groups, greatly reducing maintainance cost. Enterprise code 3 General working conditons and notes 3.1 Ambient temperature:-25℃ ~ +55℃ Al�tude:≤2000m 3.2 Rela�ve humidity:40℃ ≤20%;20℃ ≤90% 3.3 Environmental condi�ons: no noxious gas and vapour; no conduc�vity or explosive dust; no violent mechnical vibra�on.The equipment should be working with good ven�la�on instead of stuffy places. 3.4 Notes for capacitor use 3.4.1 The temperature protec�on switch of B type terminal structural product must be well connected, ensuring the steady opera�on of capacitor. 3.4.2 Overvoltage and overhea�ng will shorten capacitor’s life span. Therefore, opera�on conditons must be �ghtly controlled. 3.4.3 When shunt capacitor is intalled in the system, following items should be fully noted: a. In places where harmonic content are massive, shunt capacitor should not be mounted directly. Please concatenate harmonic restraining capacitor.In places where harmonic content is normal, please raise the voltage level of capacitor or use filter capacitor. (The common harmonic sources are: converters, DC rec�fiers, inverters, electroly�c pla�ng equipment, medium frequency furnaces, and arc furnaces.) b. When electric motor is permanently connected with shunt capacitor, the capacitor that with the current less than 90% of no-load current of electric motor is recommended. c. When the transformer is idle, the capacitor should quit opera�on. 3.4.4 When shunt capacitor is installed in the system, only special-use switches, contactors, electronic complex switches, and overcurrent relays that can restrict inrush current and prevent reigni�on should be chosen. 3.4.5 Only when capacitor re-switching on is delayed over three minutes and the power must be shortcircuit discharged a�er shut off, should touch or test be conducted. 3.4.6 When small-sized circuit breaker is used as shortcircuit protec�on, the capacitor with 2-3 �mes rated current should be chosen. That circuit breaker is switched on with capacitor is prohibited. 3.4.7 Only when the remaining voltage of capacitor drops to 10% of rated voltage a�er it is cut off from power, should it be switched on again. 4 Main parameters and other condi�ons 4.1 Rated voltage: 0.23kV、0.25kV、0.28kV、0.4kV、0.45kV、0.48kV、0.525kV 4.2 Rated frequency: 50Hz or 60Hz Rated capacity: (1 ~ 50)kvar 4.3 Capacitance devia�on: -5% ~ +10%; The ra�o of maximum and minimum values measured between any two outlet terminals of three phase capacitor must not exceed 1.08. 4.4 Dissipa�on factor tgδ:0.0012 under rated power-frequency voltage with a temperature below 20℃ . 4.5 Maximum allowable overvoltage: 1.1UN (no more than 8h per 24h); maximum allowable overcurrent:
