The KACO relay RY is mainly used in deviceswhich require a 2 pole mains isolation accord-ing to DIN VDE 0106 part 101.As stipulated in e.g. DIN VDE 0631, 14 the RYrelay has an air gap and a creepage distance of>8 mm and an operational surge voltage of >4 kV.
