Several curing procedures are performed under carefully controlled con-ditions throughout the production process. A number of quality checks and optical inspections are also carried out at various stages of produc- tion.

Production facilities

All strain gage manufacturing is accomplished in an ultra-modern production plant in Darmstadt, Germany. We additionally perform the finishing of sheets produced in the Darmstadt facility at our brand new factory in Suzhou, China. The production capacity of our factories in Darmstadt and Suzhou hasgrown rapidly over the years. Significant investments have been made at both locations to cope with increasing customer demands.
New strain gage production in Darmstadt, Germany HBM China celebrated its 5th anniversary in 2002. The company movedinto new, larger premises in 2003. Here, many types of load cells are manufactured as well as the finishing of strain gages. Strain Gages for Transducer Manufacturers 9
