Our VMH switchgear is of the fl ush fronted, metalclad type with air insulated busbars and a horizontally isolated, withdrawable vacuum circuit breaker. Developed after the introduction of the type VMV Vacuum Switchgear, this unit offers the alternative horizontally isolated vacuum circuit breakers but in addition, provides options for an enhanced fault rating (31.5kA) and internal arc protection. The fi xed housing is segregated into three compartments - the busbar chamber, circuit breaker chamber and a chamber enclosing the cable terminations, various current and voltage transformers when required, and a circuit earth switch.
