This Haas-exclusive system is capable of much more than just tooland part setting. Using macros (included) and advanced programming methods, you can perform in-process tool and part inspection, first-off part measurement, automatic compensation for thermal changes and even check for worn or broken tools. This greatly reduces operator- induced variations, and guarantees confidence for lights-out manufacturing processes.

Waste Oil/Coolant Separator Advanced Probing System

During normal operation, tramp oil and coolant can collect inside a machine’s base casting. This unit removes the oil before it can enter the coolant system. For easy job setup and process control, Haas offers the Marposs high- precision spindle probe and non- contact, laser tool setting and breakagedetection system. This factory-installed system includes proprietary Instant Productivity Cycles that eliminate the complex programming associated with most other probing software. 19
