Installation and Setup Instructions
Step 1: Position the crimper on a sturdy
professional workbench in awell-lit area. Workbench should be able to support the
crimper weight of 275 lbs. Step 2: Step 3: Locate the crimper close enough to the edge of thework surface so that
professional hose will not contact the bench or work
surface while crimping. There must be enough clearance for
the hose to align perpendicular with the cone base, or the
dies will not seat properly and crimps will not be accurate. Check the oil level in the electric pump and fill ifnecessary to approximately 1 >
1 / >
2 " below the fill plug. See Page3 for location of fill plug. Only use ISO Viscosity Grade 46
hydraulic oil. Step 4: Plug the crimper directly into a 220V, 15 amp walloutlet. If using the optional 1HP electric pump, plug the
crimper directly into a 110V, 15 amp circuit. Caution: Donot run the crimper on an extension cord or from portable
power sources, as low voltage can damage the motor. >
