| | Preserving of foods by drying is a very old system applied since ages which is learnt by mankind from nature. There are two main types of drying systems: - Sun Drying - Artificial Drying There are three types of drying method when to dehydrate is taking into consideration: - Convection drying - Contact drying - Radiation drying Convection drying is much preferable than the other drying sytems since it absorbs humudidity equally from every point of the food and reduces aflatoxin occurence. In convection drying systems, required temperature in order to evaporate the water is transfering by a gas or generally by air. Hot air goes through inside, over and between the foods. This application is known as the hot air drying technique. Drying systems of GOKSER MACHINE have the characteristics of convection drying systems.
