· The PG-9x20DHD Centerless Plunge Grinder is equipped with a standard 9" diameter x 20" wide wheel. This feature enables the user to plunge 20" long parts from 0.040" diameter to 4" in diameter. · The machine is ideal for forming brittle material such as unfired Tungsten Carbide, at a high rate with great accuracy and no breakage. This process enables the manufacturer to eliminate time consuming multiple thru-feed grinding operations after firing the carbide. · The PG-9x20DHD is equipped with a stepper motor and linear glass scale with an accuracy of 0.000050". · The machine is controlled by a NEMA 4 rated touch screen computer with networking capability, flash card for simple in the field software updates and laser gauging interface for automatic size compensation. · The regulating wheel is hydraulically driven for reliable control and is driven by a sealed hydraulic unit which requires virtually no maintenance.
