Milano n. 175647 Tribunale di Milano n. 159718/3896/18 Worm Gears with Helical Wheel: Fitting Instructions Foreword During fitting avoid crashes and undue forcing. Follow the instructions carefully. Fitting: Operation n. 1*: Before fitting the bronze wheel, heat it 40° C above room temperature. * only for wheels supplied without hub Operation n. 2: Place precisely the middle of the toothed helical wheel over the hub of the screw. Operation n. 3: Cover with marking compound the screw and insert it with care till it touches the wheel. Operation n. 4: The mark of the wheel is recorded on the mating certificate as it was checked on the desk bench. With a correct fitting you must have an identical mark on the mating worm gear - helical wheel. If this is not the case move the wheel on its hub till the mark you obtain is similar to the one on the certificate. In case of problems, check operations 2 and 3. Operation n. 5: If you detect mating problems, check your work with the drawings supplied. Operation n. 6: Don’t change in any way the geome try of the worm: warranty will not be valid any more. Operation n. 7: Fill the oil pan with very dense oil as indicated in the specifications. Operation n. 8: The check on the mating must be effected only with worm and wheel in their slots with the correct working centre distance. ADVICE.
