Text version of the page
Gentec Electro-Optics is well established in thefield of laser power and energy measurement. As a former laser manufacturer Gentec-EOknows the needs of its customers. In fact, our first laser energy measurement products were ini- tially developed for internal use as we were putting the first high rep. rate TEA CO
2 laserson the market in 1970. Gentec, Inc. introducedthe first pyroelectric joulemeters shortly after that. Gentec, Inc. was also the first to manu- facture both thermopile and pyroelectric joulemeters and wattmeters. In the mid 1990s we introduced the WB series with an averagepower density damage threshold of 100kW/cm
2 that is still unrivalled. In 2000 Gentec Electro-Optics, Inc. was formed from Gentec, Inc. so that we could focus entirely on thermal laser power and energy measurement. We are committed to providing you the bestNIST traceable measurements available any- where. Furthermore, we will push the perform- ance of our detectors to keep pace with you as you push the performance of your industrial lasers. This year we offer a complete new line of power detectors and joulemeters which provide ultra performance in several ways.We have solved laser pulse energy measure-ment problems for some of the biggest lasers in the world – the inertial confinement fusion lasers. We also offer the smallest complete pyroelec- tric joulemeter in the world. With a 30yeartrack record of innovation and providingqualitysolutions for laser power and energy measure- ment applications from the factory to the hos- pital and laboratory, Gentec-EO stands ready to serve you now and in the future.
