www.frei.de SETB These single-phase control transformers are suitable for the 3.2 – 12.0 kVA performance SETLB range (USTLB 2.6 – 3.2 kVA) and have a two-coil design. This performance range would USTB push single-coil transformers to the absolute limit. USTLB The coil wires are routed to terminal blocks. These transformers are available in both anupright version (SETB) for floor mounting or a flat version (SETLB) for wall mounting. Toensure good heat dissipation with performance levels of this magnitude all the transfor- mers in the range feature an air duct between the primary and secondary windings. In order to achieve relatively high currents, these types offer the option of connecting bothcoils in parallel. FTEU These single-phase control transformers are UL/CSA approved. Please note that the maxi- SETN mum performance range allowed by UL is 850 VA and the maximum performance rangeallowed by the CSA is 750 VA. Transformers with the code FTEU are equipped with the coil body that was developed in-house at Frei and transformers with the code SETN feature standard coil bodies. Special versions Other winding taps and/or other separate windings can be catered for on request, as can different voltages, thermal fuses and mounted fuses. Similarly,other terminal types (such as spring-loaded termi-nals) can be installed instead of the modular transformer terminals/terminal blocks.On request, we can also produce transformers with a split-bobbin winding, different frequencies andother electrical properties such as smaller losses, smaller voltage drops, higher insulation classes and with a shield or protection winding.
