T e c h n i c a l I n f o r m a t i o n J u n e 2 0 0 2 KV-100 Velocity and Flaw Detection Test Tank KV-100 Immersion Tank for Testing The Krautkramer KV-100 Test Tank is designed to provide high speed ultrasonic velocity testing for verifying the percentage of nodularity in ductile automotive safety parts. The system operates by manually loading the parts into the fixture, the part is then tested, stamped (if good) and automatically ejected into the appropriate bin. The KV-100 is constructed as an industrial hardened package for years of trouble free use and ease of service in the demanding environments that foudries offer. The tank is used with the Krautkramer USPC-2100 computer based ultrasonic instrument. The KV-100 consists of a heavy duty immersion tank, removable part fixture, automatic part ejection mechanism and full PLC control with light screen or hand switches.
