P6/P7 Single Function A/C Pressure Switch

Typical Calibration Pressures High Pressure Cutout: General Description:

GE Automotive controls pressure switches provide low cost, on / off controls for many automotive applications. The snap–action disc reacts to changing pressure by reversing its curvature and activating electrical switch contacts.

Typical Applications:

High pressure cutout, condenser fan control and high side low pressure cutout.

Technical Data

Switch Type:

Snap-Action disk with differential. Off: 425 20 psi On: 250 20 psi

Electrical Applications:

- 12v with A/C clutch load. - 5v with relay load - 12v or 5v connected to control module port.

Low Pressure Cutout:

Off: 40.0 2.0 On: 4.0 2.0

Switch Logic:

Normally open or normally closed capability in all functions.

Condenser Fan Control:

On: 200 10 psi Off: 160 15 psi

Typical Mounting:

Stem fitting with Schrader valve, English or Metric

Reliability:

Typical Electrical Load Life: 150,000 cycles

Electrical Connection:

Sealed, under-hood connectors such as Packard Electric Metri-pack and Chrysler #4400242 series.

Environmental:

Meets typical underhood requirements for temperature, vibration, shock, salt spray, humidity and fluid compatibility.
