| APPLICATIONS The Gaumer Electric Process Type G Duct Heater is designed for rugged duty where air must be heated to temperatures higher than what would be normal for comfort heating. Temperatures as high as 1100° F are possible if the heater is properly selected. Contact Gaumer Process for assistance in selecting Type G Duct Heaters. HEATER SELECTION Single Row Coil (1G-----) For heating large quantities of re-circulated air thru a very small temperature rise (to 10 degrees) resulting in a low pressure drop and low heater face velocity (300-1000 fpm). Two or Three Row Coil (2G-----) or (3G-----) For heating large quantities of re-circulated air thru a temperature rise (10 to 50 degrees) resulting in a normal pressure drop and average heater face velocity (500-2000 fpm). Three Row or Four Row Coil (3G-----) or (4G-----) For average quantities of air thru a normal temperature rise (50-100 degrees) resulting in a low pressure drop and low heater face velocity (500-2000 fpm). 6, 8, 12 Row Coil (6G-----), (8G-----), (12G-----) For average quantities of air thru a higher than normal temperature rise (100-600 degrees).
