® Regenerative Blowers forhigh volume vacuum or compressed air applications offersboth motor-mounted and separate drive models. Air flowcapabilities range from 27 to 1350 cfm (46 to 2294 m
3 /h),vacuum capabilities up to 183 in. H
2 O (13.5 in. Hg/456mbar), and pressure capabilities up to 284 in.H
2 O (10.25psig/707 mbar). TEFC electric motors are UL and CSAcertified on several models and come in single and three-phase, dual frequency, and multi-voltage versions forworldwide applications; 12 volt DC is available on thesmallest model. Horsepowers range from 1/8 to 30 HP(0,09 to 22,4 kW).The explosion-proof motors series, designed primarily forsoil vapor extraction operations, have air flow capacities upto 425 cfm (722 m
3 /h), with vacuum levels to 110 in. H

In operation, the rotating impeller draws in air from the inletport into the compression space and moves it radiallyoutward to the curved housing by centrifugal force.The action is called “regenerative” because a certainamount of air slips past each impeller blade during rotationand returns to the base of a succeeding blade forreacceleration.Because of this dynamic principle, regenerative blowers cangenerate pressure and vacuum performance comparable tomany multi-stage or positive displacement blowers.
