Immersion Heaters with built-in régulation : Control-Therm The Galvatek Teflon® immersion heater with built-in régulation has been especially developed for use in small tanks when low power is needed in a reduced space. It is a complete device combining heating and regulation : the heater, the temperature sensor and the swit-ching circuit are integrated in one single unit B An association of skills This device is the combination of materials and high technologies recognized for their efficiency in the field of corrosive liquids heating. While keeping a low exchange surface of 1W / cm2 the FEP Teflon® coated GALVATEK heater is proposed small-sized in a wide range of powers. This contributes to a better life expectancy of the heater but also of the chemicals compared to the use of traditional heaters. No need to present the well-known BK terminal casing from MAZURC-ZAK ELEKTROWARME GmbH which equip the ROTKAPPE® heaters. This casing (093mm) is made of PP and corresponds to a IP65 protection degree (hoseproof) according to norm EN60528. B Its principle Any change in the liquid temperature causes the fluid in the measuring system (capillary tube) to expand or contract and this moves the switch diaphgram. This, in turn, actuates a changeover contact which switches the heater on or off as applicable. The desired controlling temperature is set with a knob in the terminal casing. The Teflon® heater with built-in regulation is ready for use. All you need to do is to plug it into the socket. This device is available for single-phase heaters (up to 230V only) and up to 3 kW. B Materials The standard materials (Teflon® FEP for the heating cable and PP for the terminal casing and the heater's structure) have a good thermal resistance as well as a wide chemical resistance which allow use in most common liquids. In case of high temperatures (liquid temperature >80°C) or if the device is exposed to strongly oxidizing agents (such as chrome electrolyte or HNO3 solutions), the terminal casing and the structure of the heater must be chosen in PVDF. 9, rue de la Tour du Mesnil-Renard 78270 Bonnières, France 30 93 07 57 - Fax 01 30 93 25 04
