The Terra Hinged Gâte has been developed from the Terra Road Closer, a horizontally opened, hinged reinforced beam, has been impact tested in accordance with the BSI PAS 68:2007 spécification. The test was conducted to prove the arresting capability of the Terra Road Closer with a beam length of 3500mm, when impacted with a 7500kg test vehicle at a speed of 80km/hour (50mph). Terra Hinged Gâte in the opened and closed positions High Security fencing to BS 1722 mounted on the beam produces a gâte leaf. High Security Infill options available are intermediate security welded mesh three mètres high, topped with barbed taped concertina to BS1722 Part 14, or an anti-intruder welded mesh infill 2.4 mètres high, and topped with 3 strand of barbed wire to BS1722 Part 10. Similarly to the Terra Road Closer, the Terra Hinged Gâte is designed to successfully stop and immobilise a 7500kg vehicle travelling at 50mph (80kmp). The Terra Hinged Gâte is available with a gâte leaf width of up to 4500mm. The manually operated hinged beam can be automated using either our Trojan surface mounted or our Trojan Underground actuators. In the closed position the beam can be securely locked using a powered locking boit and a high security Gâte Shield locking devïce. The hinged pin which allows the beam to swing open can be manufactured in lengths of 75-100mm. Terra Hinged Gâte with infill to BS1722 Part 10 Anti-truder fence, topped with 3 strands of barbed wire.
